Education and Training
The XENIA Schools continue to demonstrate excellence and innovation
in program development and performance. To learn
more about our schools visit their site.
Xenia Community Schools is leading an exciting new effort to go beyond merely building new schools to instead creating a true community asset. Xenia Communtiy Schools Superintendent Dr. Jeffrey Lewis and YMCA of Greene County Director David Thompson are co-chairing the Under One Roof Committee, a group of more than 20 local leaders and agencies as they explore partnering to build a community center that would create a dynamic center for Xenia and save partner agencies literally millions of dollars each year by sharing costs.
As envisioned, The Under One Roof project would contain Xenia High School, the Xenia Branch of the YMCA, a healthcare component, and potentially the Xenia branch of the Greene County Library, a senior citizen center, a community college and other service agencies. See the Xenia Community website for more information. http://www.xenia.k12.oh.us/oneroof/default.htm
